As an RN Charge- Registered Nurse - PRN - Women’s/Post Surgical Department, you will: Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition. Establish a plan of care appropriate to identified problems and involve the patient according to their capabilities and desires. Supervise and mentor nursing and support staff during the assigned shift. Assist in determining staffing levels and assignments based on staff availability, staff abilities, census, patient acuity and workflow. Provide direct patient care as needed. Float between staff to assist with problem-solving and take patient assignments to meet staffing needs. Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify issues that affect outcomes. Respond to complaints about patient care and related services through established channels. Perform role-specific duties such as entering orders, admissions or discharges, and coordinating transfers. Ensure staff has necessary equipment and supplies to provide safe, quality patient care. Who Excels In This Role

Responds to complaints about patient care and related services, and manages through established channels. Performs role-specific duties as assigned, including entering orders, admissions or discharges, and coordinating transfers. Ensures staff has necessary equipment and supplies to provide safe, quality patient care. What We’re Looking For

Current State of TN or compact state RN license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at time of hire. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months of hire. More About Starr Regional Medical Center
