Overview
The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects online AP Psychology tutors with students nationwide. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of your home.
Responsibilities
Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions focused on AP Psychology.
Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
Use the live learning platform to conduct tutoring sessions remotely.
Be matched with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise.
Leverage tools like the Tutor Copilot to aid instruction, generate lessons, and enhance engagement.
Handle invoicing while Varsity Tutors manages payments and logistics.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
Expertise in AP Psychology with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
Prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education are preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects, up to $40/hour with the same student.
Paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.
Remote work with no commuting required.
AI-powered tools to support instruction and save preparation time.
Platform handles payments and logistics; you invoice for sessions.
