Fisher-Titus Medical Center . We are seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to provide therapeutic services in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. The role includes evaluation, treatment, and patient education, with supervision responsibilities after one year of experience.

Responsibilities

Complete evaluations of assigned patients in accordance with established standards of care and practice. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure evaluations are performed safely and accurately. Set realistic, measurable short- and long-term goals addressing functional needs, written upon completion of evaluation per department standards. Independently select and perform therapeutic techniques aligned with the patient’s problems and medical status, integrating clinical knowledge and theory. Demonstrate knowledge of equipment/materials used in patient care per supervisor’s guidance and chart documentation. Provide patient and family educational needs and information. Adhere to procedures and documentation standards within the rehabilitation area/department. Work within the guidelines and authorizations provided by the patient’s insurance coverage and/or Medicare guidelines. Demonstrate good time management and willingness to provide coverage in other rehabilitation areas as needed. Qualifications & Requirements
