Overview

PRN Position for a Speech-Language Pathologist at Amedisys, a leading home health and hospice company in the U.S. Join a community-based care team focused on delivering compassionate care in patients\' homes. Responsibilities

Responsible for working to prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults. Provides aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and provides augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the state you are assigned to. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with completed graduate coursework and a clinical practicum in an accredited program (CAA). Current CPR certification. Preferred

One (1+) year of experience in speech pathology. Note: If the SLP - CCC certification has not been obtained, the candidate may be placed into the SLP Clinical Fellow (CFY) path with supervision, hour requirements and mentoring. Benefits and compensation

Base pay range: $75.00/hr - $85.00/hr. A full benefits package with choice of affordable PPO or HSA medical plans. Paid time off.
