This role involves providing exceptional patient and family care within an inpatient setting, focusing on symptom management and referrals to hospice. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in the Palliative Care specialty, ensuring comprehensive support for patients. The team is collaborative and dedicated to compassionate care. Responsibilities Full-time position with Monday to Friday schedule and occasional weekends Inpatient care in a hospital setting Focus on symptom management and goals of care conversations Referrals to Hospice as appropriate Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patients and families Qualifications Acute Care Nurse Practitioner experience in ER or ICU is a plus Hospice or Palliative Care certification is a plus Bilingual in Spanish preferred Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills Compensation and Benefits Compensation between $144,673 and $186,749 per year Salary range reflects starting total compensation and may include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, call stipends, extra shift incentives, and other cash compensation CME allowance and other benefits offered by the medical group employer Salary range subject to variation in accordance with applicable state law About the Workplace Providence St. Joseph Hospital is a 463-bed facility offering a wide range of medical specialties and sub-specialties One of the largest hospitals in Orange County with a long-standing community presence Equal Opportunity Employer Equal Opportunity Employer including disability/veteran
