AMI is seeking a Part Time, 24 hour per week Mammography/X-Ray Technologist to join the team in the Cape May Court House office location. This is a great opportunity to join a growing outpatient Radiology practice. Part time, 20+ hour per week positions at AMI are eligible for Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays, 401k & Profit Sharing. Health benefits are not currently extended with part time positions. Offered rates increase based on years of work experience. Responsibilities
Performs mammography examinations according to the technical standards established by the radiology department. Performs X-Ray examinations according to the technical standards established by the radiology department. Utilizes instructional information and methods as established by the management. Provides for the safety, health and well-being of all patients, visitors and co-workers; becomes familiar with and ready to respond to emergency codes and life safety practices as established by the Practice. Performs all other related duties as assigned to ensure optimum radiologic care, efficient and orderly flow of patients and safe, expedient office operation. Provides informal supervision and instructional advice to non-technical personnel assigned to the work area. Utilizes all departmental clerical equipment, including computerized information systems, copy machines, etc., to ensure that all required office record keeping and documentation is accurate, timely and accessible. Monday & Tuesday, 8:30am-5pm Rotating 3rd day, 8:30am-5pm Rotating Saturdays, 7:30am-12pm Additional shifts are available as needed Schedules are subject to change based on business needs. Qualifications
Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) for Mammography and hold a current X-ray Technologist license in the State of NJ. Must have full knowledge of all aspects concerning radiation protection. Must be Mammography Certified/experienced. Previous Dexa experience preferred. American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained prior to the start of employment and certification must require hands on instruction.
