Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations, including trauma, stroke, chest pain, pediatrics, behavioral health, infectious diseases, and general ED cases Perform critical procedures: phlebotomy, IV insertion, EKGs, port access, and management of critical drips Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and more Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic Follow isolation precautions and infection control protocols Complete orientation and required modules prior to assignment start Commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays during the contract Float to sister facilities as needed to support unit needs Qualifications
Active Oregon RN license (pending license accepted) Minimum 1.5 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Epic charting system experience preferred Proficient in dysrhythmia interpretation, multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, central line care, IV sedation, vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, ABG interpretation, ventilator management, isolation precautions Ability to float within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed Reliable vehicle required for assignment References: 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years Benefits
