Role : Health Fitness Professional (full-time) — energize our corporate fitness program in El Segundo, CA. If you have a solid foundation in fitness and want to level up, this role provides daily operations experience in a dynamic corporate fitness environment. Schedule : Monday–Friday, varying shifts between 6am–7pm, no weekends. Responsibilities

Coordinate, implement, and/or deliver health and fitness programs, services, promotions and outreach activities. Provide outstanding service to members and program participants to maximize participation, outcomes and customer satisfaction. Supervise facility; interact with participants, monitor equipment and participant safety. Provide individual and group exercise instruction; educate participants on proper techniques to maximize safety and effectiveness. Coordinate and lead HealthFitness and program-specific health improvement programs and promotions. Conduct fitness testing and assessments; design individualized programs to meet participants\' interests, abilities and goals. Research health & fitness educational topics and identify appropriate participant educational materials; conduct health education seminars/presentations. Participate in membership drives; enroll new participants and conduct facility, program and equipment orientations. Promote program offerings and conduct outreach to increase participation and re-engage inactive participants. Create and maintain bulletin boards, newsletters and other marketing and communication materials. Coordinate internship program; oversee recruitment, training, supervision and evaluation of student interns. Other duties as needed/assigned. Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Kinesiology, Exercise Science, etc.) or 2+ years’ fitness and wellness industry experience, with fitness industry certification(s) from a HealthFitness approved provider. OSHA-compliant Adult/Child First Aid/CPR/AED from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, National Safety Council, or American Safety & Health Institute. Industry-recognized Group Exercise Instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NCCPT or NETA required; if not current, must be obtained within 90 days of hire. Preferred

NCCA Accredited Personal Trainer certification from an Industry recognized and HealthFitness approved agency. Proficiency in fitness assessment and exercise prescription. Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills, including the ability to motivate others. Competency in the delivery of HealthFitness and site-specific programs and services. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to organize and prioritize work, including project coordination. Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team with enthusiasm, initiative and creativity. Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: $19.00–$21.00 per hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. Additional commission opportunities available for someone with an industry-recognized and HealthFitness approved Personal Trainer certification.
