Overview
UM Shore Medical Group Cardiology (outpatient offices) is seeking a full‑time Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated team in Easton, Maryland. In this role you will work alongside cardiologists and hospitalists to deliver exceptional inpatient cardiovascular care in a supportive, patient‑centered setting. Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions. Perform comprehensive history and physical assessment. Order, obtain, and interpret diagnostic tests and establish medical diagnoses. Design and document treatment plans, prescribe medications and initiate protocols/clinical pathways. Ensure timely intervention and incorporate patient/family in care planning. Communicate plan of care with patients and families; provide education on disease process and medication regimens. Provide primary, secondary, and tertiary preventive care services. Qualifications
Current license to practice in Maryland. Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (Adult Gerontology or Acute Care Preferred). DEA or similar narcotics and controlled substances certification. Clinical privileges at a minimum one UMMS affiliated acute care facility. Experience in cardiology, ICU, or inpatient hospitalist settings strongly preferred. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and team‑based care skills. Benefits
