Work location: Texas Health Stephenville, 411 Belknap, TX 76401 Work environment: Radiology CT Scan Services Work hours: Night and weekend shift coverage 11p-7a (Mon-Thu), 7p-7a (Fri-Sun), 7a-7p (Sat-Sun) What You Need

Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology (required) or an Associate Degree (preferred) 1 year radiologic technologist experience without ARRT-CT (required) or no experience with ARRT-CT (required) ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) (required) and ARRT – (CT) (required) or ARRT- (CT) within 12 months if 1 year radiology technician experience (required) CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (TDH or TMB) (required) BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care (required) Responsibilities

Explain procedures to the patient or guardian prior to and during the exam Imaging correct anatomical area of interest and pathology according to department protocols Perform complex CT procedures including age-related criteria and developmental considerations Process and manipulate images, analyze image quality, troubleshoot, adjust technique, or repeat procedures as needed Correctly send and transfer images to PACS Assess and recognize the patient’s emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive and psychosocial conditions Operate, care for and maintain CT equipment Prepare room for examination (suction, oxygen, supplies) Administer contrast media and other medications in accordance with medication administration guidelines Maintain equipment and room to sanitary standards between patients (injectors, tablet surfaces, floors) Additional Perks
