This role is integral to supporting the sales function and managing the end-to-end order lifecycle, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our customers.The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator with a strong sense of urgency and a proven ability to manage relationships, prioritize competing needs, and drive results that align with company objectives. A blend of sales support, service excellence, and problem-solving is essential for success in this role.**Key Responsibilities:****Client Relationship Management*** Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely, accurate information regarding products, orders, and services.* Process and manage customer orders, ensuring accurate entry and invoicing through internal systems.* Support the outside sales team by quoting prices, updating pricing information, and evaluating order profitability.* Maintain and monitor customer rebate programs and ensure clients are informed about pricing updates and delivery timelines.* Collaborate with Sales Representatives to proactively address and resolve customer concerns.**Sales Support & Administration*** Coordinate order fulfillment by working cross-functionally with Production, Shipping, Accounting, and Credit departments.* Handle administrative tasks such as special-order processing and maintenance of order files for both domestic and international markets.* Manage pricing, inventory, and customer program details to ensure consistency and accuracy.* Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, such as lost or damaged goods, including issuing credits or rebills when necessary.* Assist with the management of customer inventory programs to maintain optimal stock levels.**Qualifications & Competencies:*** **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field a plus.* **Experience**: 3 to 5 years in a customer service or account management role, ideally with a strong focus on sales support.* **Technical Skills**: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and V-lookups); experience with order and inventory management systems is preferred.* **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate professionally with both clients and internal stakeholders.* **Business Acumen**: Solid understanding of business operations and the ability to make decisions that support organizational goals.* **Professionalism**: Highly polished, reliable, and customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.* **Process Improvement Mindset**: Committed to identifying and implementing ways to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
