The Role As an Account Executive, you'll be pivotal in building strategic partnerships with K-12 school districts in various territories. You'll leverage your deep understanding of the education landscape and your proven track record of success in EdTech sales to secure district-wide deployments of Jotit, positively impacting the learning experience of thousands of students.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to target and acquire K-12 school districts
Prospect, qualify and build strong relationships with key decision-makers at the district level, including superintendents, curriculum directors, and technology leadership
Deliver compelling presentations showcasing the unique value proposition of Jotit and its impact on student engagement and learning outcomes
Negotiate and close high-value contracts with school districts
Partner with internal teams (Marketing, Customer Success, etc.) to ensure a seamless sales cycle and exceptional customer experience
Develop and maintain an updated understanding of the K-12 education landscape, relevant trends, and competitor solutions
Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in selling into schools and school districts.
Proven track record of success in selling complex solutions to K-12 school districts.
Strong understanding of the current K-12 education landscape, key challenges, and technology adoption trends
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with educators and administrators
Demonstrated ability to navigate the complex decision-making process within school districts effectively
High level of self-motivation, drive, and a results-oriented mindset
Understanding of what it is like to work for a startup company
Additional Requirements:
Willingness and availability to travel substantially within the US
