Location Description
Located at the base of Snow King Mountain, just a few blocks from downtown and 20 minutes from the Jackson Hole Airport, Snow King Resort Hotel boasts breathtaking views of the Teton Mountain Range and offers its guests a wide variety of activities and amenities. As Jackson’s largest venue, Snow King Resort Hotel offers over 20,000 square feet of combined indoor and outdoor function space. Featuring 203 guest rooms and vacation luxury condo rentals.
Overview
SUMMARY
The Spa Supervisor at Grand View Spa will be an integral member of the team that creates distinctively different and authentic experiences for our guests by leading the Spa Coordinator, Spa Provider and Spa Attendant Teams. They will exemplify Snow King Resort & Spa culture while working to always provide exceptional service and operational excellence to both internal and external guests.
Essential Job Functions
Supervise day-to-day operations of the Spa Coordinator, Spa Provider and Spa Attendant teams including supporting and creating operational protocols.
Focus on maximizing revenue and guest satisfaction.
Work closely with the Spa Director to ensure all standards and expectations are met.
Oversee the spa facilities and operations, as Manager on Duty as needed.
Maintain current knowledge of all spa policies and procedures, spa services including spa treatments, spa amenities, hours of operations, and spa retail.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of current guest services, activities, dining options, shops, local attractions, and historical information regarding Snow King Resort & Spa and the surrounding area to answer any questions guests may have.
Ensure all spa staff are aware of discount rates, special packages, products, services, and general info needed to handle guest inquiries daily.
Conduct training for existing and new Spa Coordinator and Spa Attendants.
Perform Spa Coordinator and Spa Attendant duties to standards of excellence.
Ensure charges are processed diligently and correctly, follow up with guests on charge discrepancies as needed.
Inform Spa Director of any guest concerns or incidents needing further attention. If applicable, complete a Guest Incident Report or Employee Incident Report on any issues (solved or unsolved issues) and follow up as needed.
Ensure the Spa Team executes daily tasks and special assignments in a timely manner including the maintenance, organization, and cleaning of workspaces.
Maintain good communications and teamwork with other departments within the resort.
Participate in and successfully complete all training, education, and certifications required.
Uphold and model appropriate departmental standards of excellence including verbiage and quality of interactions with guests.
Uphold and ensure compliance with all Snow Kind Resort and Pyramid Global policies and procedures.
Support performance evaluations and disciplinary notices as needed.
Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues, safety hazards, or unsafe practices and procedures to the Spa Director immediately.
Report to work at the scheduled time in compliance with Pyramid Global Appearance Standards
Attend all scheduled staff meetings and proactively present solutions to challenges observed.
Execute timely other duties as delegated by Spa Director.
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Must be flexible on working days, mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must have the ability to learn new spa procedures and protocols
Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written
Must be highly motivated, detail oriented, solution and customer focused
Must possess a positive attitude and can work with a variety of people and in cooperation with associates efficiently and effectively.
Must be able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to think and act proactively
Must possess a professional and friendly demeanor
Must possess excellent communication and listening skills
Must have the ability to resolve conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
Must be able to easily adapt to organizational and environmental changes
