While helping fellow students learn physics, teaching assistants become better teachers, learners, communicators, and deepen their understanding of physics. Minimum Qualifications
Must be current University of La Verne student. Successful completion of the Physics sequence 201/203 or 202/204 with a grade of B- or better. Interest in physical science. Preferred Qualifications
Committed to working both Fall and Spring semesters for a minimum of 5 hours/week. Ability to communicate effectively and help students construct their own understandings of lab material. Dependable, reliable, and self-sufficient. Work Schedule
TA will work one or two of the following lab sections: Tuesday 02:00 PM – 05:00 PM Tuesday 06:50 PM – 09:50 PM Wednesday 01:00 PM – 04:00 PM Wednesday 06:00 PM – 09:00 PM Tuesday 08:40 AM – 11:40 AM Thursday 02:00 PM – 05:00 PM Thursday 06:50 PM – 09:50 PM Mandatory Pre-Lab Meetings: Fridays (time to be decided) Seniority level
