Camp Counselor , you’ll be responsible for a cabin of 5 campers at a time, creating a safe, fun, and empowering environment that allows them to explore, grow, and make lasting memories. After completing our comprehensive training program, you’ll put your skills to use each day, leading activities, guiding campers, and contributing to the overall camp magic. Your Day at Camp Augusta will look like this : Creating Special Wake-Ups : Create a memorable and intentional Special Wake-Up for your cabin, setting the tone for a fun and meaningful day. Facilitating a Robust Variety of Clinics : Lead four different activity blocks each day from the wide array of activities you’ll choose to focus on during training. From circus arts to archery to crafts—your day is varied, creative, and full of new learning. Designing Cabin Activities : Lead your cabin in daily activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and self-expression, such as art projects, skits, or nature walks. Evening Programs:

Be part of our evening programs, where you’ll play in large-scale games like capture the flag, or take on roles in immersive, creative camp-wide events. You’ll help make these programs unforgettable for campers through skits, songs, and your best character performances. Evening Embers:

End each day with thoughtful, silly, and memorable activities (Embers) to help campers connect, reflect, and prepare for the days ahead. Give back with heart:

Gift your campers two personal gifts each session: a hand-crafted wood cookie and a heartfelt Parent Letter, showing your investment in their growth and journey. Counselors are the heartbeat of camp, and our words are critical to bringing our hearts to theirs. Most counselors spend a session or two outside of the cabin as well, contributing to programming or other areas of interest. Leadership Development - The Augusta Growth Track (This Summer and Beyond!) At

Our structured Leadership Track allows high-performing counselors to gain hands-on experience in program management, staff support, and logistics, preparing you for future roles within and beyond the camp. Leadership tracks offer in-summer training for the roles of: Master of Fun & Games:

Have a flair for our epic games and activities? Work on logistics, staging, and game oversight, collaborating with our MFG team to run unforgettable camp programs. Village Leadership:

Ready for a ‘cabin’ of young adults for a summer? Support fellow counselors alongside our Village Leaders, gaining experience in team management, parent communication, and more. Area Program Directors:

Take the lead in domains with our Arts Directors, Challenge Course Managers, Equestrian Team, or Masters of Fun and Games. Office & Administration:

We are focused on counseling skills, creativity, excellent programming, and camper choice. by June 1st, 2026. Available for full summer : May 12th to August 8th, 2026 (includes 3.5 weeks of training and 9 weeks of summer camp). Ability to commit to

~5 hours/week

of pre-camp onboarding from the date you're hired till you arrive (depending on hire date) A strong desire to

grow into a leadership position , with a commitment to returning for subsequent summers. AND MUST have two of the following: At least one summer of experience at a summer camp Over 100 hours of direct professional (paid) mentorship work with youth A major or background directly related to working with youth, with the intention of working with youth in your future career Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with children in a meaningful way (e.g., previous camp, childcare, or mentorship experience) A passion for

personal development

and the ability to apply your learning to your work with campers.
