Kido International Preschool is opening two brand-new campuses in River North and West Loop. We’re looking for passionate, dedicated founding team members to help bring our vision to life as Lead Teachers. What You’ll Do
Inspire learning using our thoughtfully designed, easy-to-implement curriculum to deliver engaging lessons that spark curiosity and foster a love of learning. Multitask with purpose by supporting the growth and well-being of each child through responsive care, balanced routines, and effective classroom management. Build strong relationships by partnering with families and children through open communication and meaningful daily interactions. Collaborate with your team to create a joyful, purposeful classroom culture that supports every child’s development. Make a lasting impact by supporting children’s social, emotional, and academic growth in a nurturing, inclusive environment. Minimum Qualifications (Required by Illinois DCFS for Lead Teachers)
High School Diploma or GED Must meet Illinois DCFS qualifications for a Lead Teacher, typically including: 60 semester hours (or 90 quarter hours) of college credit with at least 6 semester hours in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, OR A CDA (Child Development Associate) credential, OR An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field Must be at least 18 years old Experience teaching in a licensed preschool setting Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field 5–10 years of experience in a licensed childcare setting 2–3 years of experience in a Montessori or Reggio-inspired environment Why You’ll Love Working Here
