Overview Wacoal-America, the leader in Intimate Apparel, is seeking a self-motivated, energetic, service-oriented individual to lead a sales organization focused on driving revenue in Wacoal-America’s new retail stores. The Sales Manager reports to the Regional Store Manager and is responsible for developing selling skills, building a high-performance team, coaching for optimal results, and maintaining high visibility on the selling floor to model service and selling behaviors.

Responsibilities

Drive sales by developing the selling skills and behaviors of selling associates and ensuring consistent coaching for revenue targets.

Maintain high floor visibility to model focused sales and service behaviors; establish and maintain client relationships; and foster effective teamwork to achieve store goals.

Lead training and ongoing education of the selling team, including product knowledge, event information, policy updates, and communication of merchandise opportunities to planning and regional management.

Ensure each Selling and Service Associate learns proper bra fitting for customers; fittings occur in fitting rooms, not on the selling floor over clothing.

Provide regular training clinics to support staff development for the Sales Manager and Assistant Manager.

Lead talent development by assembling a strong, sales-focused team; assess development needs; provide ongoing education to increase product knowledge; coach for continuous improvement; manage performance and counsel or remove underperformers as needed.

Oversee store operations and merchandising, including receiving, inventory management, back stock, floor presentation, loss prevention, and cash controls; maintain a welcoming shopping environment and ensure maintenance of fitting rooms, floor, and customer areas.

Communicate weekly with buying and merchandising teams regarding inventory management and stock opportunities.

Focus on client acquisition and retention; oversee associate marketing outreach and events to build relationships and generate sales and repeat business.

Qualifications

College degree or equivalent; 4-year degree preferred.

2+ years of store management experience.

Experience delivering sales and customer service; strong communication and customer service sensitivity skills.

Goal oriented with ability to develop, manage, and motivate a sales team and drive company initiatives.

Proficiency in Word, Excel, and available technology.

Flexible scheduling to accommodate evening, weekend, and holiday needs.

Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities; creative and entrepreneurial spirit.
