As we expand our presence in local markets, we're specifically seeking a vibrant and detail-oriented

PR & Media Relations Freelancer in the US

to directly support our media outreach, campaign launches, story research, and localization efforts. You'll be instrumental in helping us to tell our story, connect with local media, and shine a light on the crucial work we do through strategic public relations initiatives tailored for the US audience. Responsibilities

Media Landscape Mapping:

Proactively identify and map the local media landscape, pinpointing relevant news outlets, key journalists, and emerging PR opportunities with a focus on US national outlets. Pitching & Follow-Up:

Pitch campaigns and stories to journalists to secure local press coverage, and follow up with media contacts. Media Request Coordination:

Support incoming media requests, coordinating timely and accurate responses with our Global PR Manager. Competitors & Industry Monitoring:

Monitor competitors' coverage and industry trends, proposing fresh story angles tailored to US audiences. Taking initiative:

Suggest timely story ideas and PR opportunities, and, over time, independently propose and draft relevant PR stories. Localize:

Adapt press releases and other materials for the North American market, ensuring cultural relevance and accuracy. Data-driven Storytelling:

Analyze flight and passenger rights data to identify trends and create compelling story angles for the media. Who You Are

We are specifically seeking candidates who are ready to hit the ground running. While we value motivation and initiative immensely,

previous experience in public relations or journalism

is a key criterion for this role. Demonstrated Previous PR Experience:

Prior experience in PR or proven hands-on experience in media relations, drafting press materials, or supporting PR campaigns. Proactive in suggesting topics and angles for North American audiences. American English skills (native level):

Clear, concise communication. BA/MA

in Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations. Organized, Curious, Proactive, and Independent:

Comfortable managing tasks remotely and taking initiative. Result-oriented approach:

Ability to deliver quickly and impact business growth, manage multiple projects. Interest in Aviation, Travel, or Passenger Rights:
