Operate with integrity and show respect to everyone; be a role model. About the Club Manager Role
As Club Manager, you oversee all club operations to ensure an exceptional “Judgement Free” member experience. You will create a work environment that supports the organization’s culture and drives member engagement. You will select, develop, and lead the team to achieve club priorities and KPI goals, coaching to deliver an outstanding member experience and team member experience. Responsibilities include: Coordinate and execute hiring practices and onboard new team members. Create staff schedules and ensure shifts are covered; provide back-up support as needed. Administer and process employee timecards in ADP. Manage the company card for expenditures and maintain receipts. Oversee ordering of club supplies and retail products. Track Key Performance Indicators, identify root causes, and implement improvement plans. Ensure the team is aware of marketing efforts and trained on promotions. Assess and assist in emergency situations. Assign tasks and lead team members safely and efficiently. Model behaviors that provide an outstanding member experience; coach others to do the same. Manage team performance and provide regular feedback. Resolve employee concerns with HR as needed. Submit all employee changes (status, schedule, pay, etc.) promptly. Daily responsibilities include: Greet members/guests as they enter and assist with questions or concerns during check-in. Promote our Judgement Free Zone by engaging with members and supporting their fitness journeys while upholding club policies. Resolve escalated member concerns and partner with the Regional Manager as needed. Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with inquiries. Perform membership-related functions such as sign-ups, information updates, cancellations, and handling unpaid balances. Conduct prospective member calls and tours to assess membership needs. Conduct retail transactions and drive sales goals. Oversee cleaning and sanitizing of all equipment and spa amenities, including common areas and your assigned area. Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and orderly by following the cleaning schedule. Walk through all club areas to identify safety/policy issues and address cleanliness concerns. Report maintenance and facility concerns to the Facilities Maintenance team and coordinate resolutions. Create cleaning and sanitizing assignments for team members and ensure completion. Qualifications
6–12 months of experience in a customer service environment preferred Must be 18 years or older Ability to pass a background check Willing to become CPR/AED certified (training provided by Planet Fitness) Basic computer proficiency Physical Demands
Continual standing and movement throughout the club Frequent communication in person or by phone Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds Exposure to cleaning chemicals Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities Ability to move and bend as needed to accomplish tasks Benefits and Perks
