Overview

This is a 10-hour shift 4 days each week, with the shift schedule from 07:00–17:30 for a total of 40 hours per week. Role: Electrophysiology Technician with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification. The all-inclusive hourly pay rate is $55.69/hr, comprising a taxable component of $34.19/hr and a per diem of $21.50/hr. Work Location: 4725 N. Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33308. EP Lab/Cath Lab Shift Timings:

07:30–17:30 Monday to Friday (4 Days/10 Hours) Per Week:

40 Hours Staff must stay to finish cases as they permit after 5:30. Epic experience preferred. ACLS and BLS required. RCIS. Looking for EP specialty at this time. Watchman devices, AFIB ablations (PFA), ICDs, EP studies, etc. Rate:

$55.69 / hour

Responsibilities

Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.

Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.

Assess and coordinate patient\'s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Qualifications

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

National Institutes of Health (NIH)

Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Active unencumbered Electrophysiology Technician Florida state license

Graduate from a fully accredited Electrophysiology Technician program

Two years of work experience as an Electrophysiology Technician

One year of EMR experience

Board Certified

Skills/Abilities/Competencies Required

Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.

Participates in relevant continuing education programs.

Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.

A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.

Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
