This role is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and developing forecasts to support strategic decision‑making. What you will be doing… Your IMPACT
Prepare month‑end reports for internal stakeholders.
Prepare barge transportation cost estimates, provide support for contract development, and make recommendations on rate adjustment mechanisms.
Perform margin analysis to determine profitability by customer and prepare comparative report versus costing model.
Assist in the development of standards used in cost estimates.
Implement monthly, quarterly, and annual rate adjustments per customer contracts.
Perform financial analysis of asset overhauls and capital projects.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Competence in all financial and accounting principles and processes is required.
Proficiency in using MS Office software.
Preferred Experience
1-3 Years of experience in Finance or Cost Accounting is preferred but not required.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
Knowledge of Oracle, Microsoft BI Tools, and other financial systems is beneficial.
Knowledge of barging operations helpful.
