Salary and Compensation
Base pay: $155,000 - $180,000 per year.
Additional compensation: Annual Bonus.
Position Overview We represent an industry‑leading Fortune 500 consumer products organization seeking a senior level Controller due to a recently announced transfer/promotion. The Site Finance Director/Controller will report directly to the VP/General Manager and will begin the interview process ASAP.
Candidate will report to the General Manager and work closely with the Vice President of Finance.
Lead a department of four direct employees, including two managers, overseeing a $400M+ revenue campus.
Hold accountability for Cost, FP&A, and Reporting functions.
Review and analyze plant inventory transactions.
Lead the month‑end close process.
Analyze financial data to determine cost impacts on the business.
Provide executive leadership with detailed reports to support business decisions and control expenditures.
Participate in projects and support the CFO, VP/GM, and Operations Leadership.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; advanced degree or certification (CPA, CMA, MBA, MSA, etc.) preferred.
At least 3–5 years of plant/manufacturing experience, with a solid “cost” background (BOM, absorption, inventory levels, variance analysis).
Experience leading the month‑end close process.
Targeting a “Business Partner” role with General Management/Operations.
Location: Charleston, WV.
