Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a laboratory setting

Job Description The purpose of this position is: Performs quality-related functions such as product sampling, inspection, and testing. Makes day-to-day quality decisions, manages nonconforming product, and completes process validations and certification testing.

This position includes significant duties such as:

Performs daily fit, form, and function product testing in the QA lab and certification testing as assigned

Performs mold qualification testing, including new parts and modifications to molds

Completes incoming inspections

Makes decisions on day-to-day quality issues and communicates related instructions to those necessary

Gathers product samples for testing

Understands and carries out the quarantine procedure for nonconforming products

Knows how to operate testing and measuring equipment in the lab following proper protocol

Collects and processes lot samples

Assists in investigating Customer Concerns as needed

Participates in other related functions to ensure product quality

Working Conditions Good working conditions in the QA lab with good lighting and climate control. Some exposure to chemicals and odors. Proper protective attire such as gloves, eye protection, and respirators are available.
