We are actively hiring for a Sr Insurance Analyst, Claims Insights. Your Role

We are looking for motivated, innovative individuals who think big and move fast with a passion for delivering data-driven insights. This is an advanced level analyst role requiring knowledge in a specific area or broad area of multiple functions. Tasks may include identifying emerging trends based on consultative insight from internal and external sources. Identifies and addresses potential sources in conflict with business goals. Projects are typically longer term and may provide direction for future actions. May participate in and/or lead large projects. Provides guidance, mentorship and training to develop lower-level associates, with accountability for team success. Your Work

Perform research, modeling, forecasting and coordination of data collection from Claims and other groups. Review and interpret current reporting, identify trends to improve operational efficiency and product performance. Lead complex analyses to understand root causes of underlying trends and effectively communicate findings to senior management. Monitor internal claims loss data and incorporate industry trends to deliver insights. Support accountability and ownership in the claims process by providing an accurate and unbiased view of claims operations. Leverage industry data and knowledge to evaluate results in relation to industry benchmarks. Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders in Claims, Product, Actuarial, Finance and Technology to identify new trends and initiatives. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts. Required Experience, Education and Skills

Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience. 8+ years of directly related experience. Superior research, statistical, analytical, processing and mathematical skills with the ability to structure and conduct analyses. Proficiency in data science and coding (Snowflake, SQL, Microsoft Excel; may also use SAS, PowerBI, Python, etc.). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Adaptability and the capability of multi-tasking and strong time management. Ability to make effective formal presentations. Ability to work in a team environment. Strong communication and presentation skills (written, verbal, listening). Demonstrated analytical agility and curiosity; interest in learning new things and technology. Direct claims experience or analytical actuarial experience (preferred). What would make us excited about you?

Knowledge of insurance and rate-making concepts. Pursuit or completion of industry-relevant continuing education (e.g., graduate degrees, MBS, AINS, AIC, ARM, CPCU, actuarial exams/designations). 0–2 years of leadership and mentoring experience. Advanced degree in a related field. Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent analytical and communication skills; ability to translate complex concepts into clear stories. Strong initiative and ability to drive projects to completion with minimal guidance. Strong data visualization skills (PowerBI a plus). Insurance product, price, underwriting and Claims knowledge, with knowledge of personal lines Claims operations. Ability to contribute to company culture and participate in cross-functional initiatives. Willingness to travel for role, including divisional/team meetings and in-person meetings as needed.
