Peraton’s Cyber Mission supports the United States Air Force by delivering mission-critical Cyber professionals who defend our nation’s security. Our team provides engineering, logistics, sustainment, and customer support to ensure network functionality while addressing complex cyber operations and national defense challenges. Role:
Network Engineering, Lead Associate — to support our mission to defend and protect national security. The Lead Associate supports the planning, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure connectivity. They assist senior engineers in configuring hardware, troubleshooting issues, and introducing improvements to enhance network performance and security. Responsibilities
Assist with the design and deployment of enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls. Support the integration of new network technologies into existing environments. Perform routine network monitoring to ensure system health and connectivity. Configure and update network devices under senior engineering guidance. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues across local and wide-area networks. Maintain network documentation including diagrams, configuration files, and change logs. Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, Master's degree with 3 years of experience, PhD with 0 years of experience US Citizenship and a current active TOP SECRET Clearance with SCI Must comply with DoD 8140/DCWF Work Role 411 requirements, including holding an approved baseline certification and meeting KSAs for managing, monitoring, and maintaining DoD gateway and boundary systems Experience supporting enterprise network operations and troubleshooting connectivity issues Familiarity with configuring routers, switches, and firewalls Basic understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, and network segmentation Experience performing routine network maintenance and monitoring Desired Qualifications: Exposure to enterprise-class networking hardware from vendors such as Cisco or Juniper Familiarity with wireless network configuration and troubleshooting Experience supporting hybrid cloud networking environments Basic knowledge of load balancers and VPN technologies Compensation & Benefits
Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. Salary is determined by factors including scope, responsibilities, experience, education, and location. Depending on the position, overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus may apply. EEO:
