Quality Roofing, Inc., a leading roofing and general contracting company, is seeking a skilled and motivated
Framer & Finish Carpenter
to join our growing team.
Position Summary The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with residential and commercial construction, including framing structures, installing finishes, and ensuring top-quality craftsmanship. You’ll work on a variety of projects, from new builds and remodels to roofing and general contracting jobs, contributing to our reputation for exceptional workmanship and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Perform rough and finish carpentry work, including framing, trimming, and molding.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to execute precise work.
Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other materials according to project requirements.
Inspect and repair existing structures and frameworks when needed.
Collaborate closely with project managers, roofers, and other crew members to ensure seamless project execution.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company and OSHA safety guidelines.
Operate power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently.
Troubleshoot and resolve construction-related issues on-site.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license (must operate company vehicles as needed).
Minimum 3+ years in framing, finish carpentry, or general construction.
Proficient in using power tools, saws, drills, levels, and other equipment.
Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and safety procedures.
Ability to read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and project plans.
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Experience in the construction or contracting industry.
Valid driver’s license (to operate company vehicles as needed).
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday-Friday 7:00am to 5:30pm with some flexibility regarding hours. Would need to work overtime and weekends when required.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions. This position is primarily performed in outside weather conditions including extreme heat. Physical demands are required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
Travel Travel is primarily local during the business day, however some out of the area and overnight travel may be required.
