The Field Technician (Inspector) is responsible for testing, repairing, and inspecting fixed fire protection systems and their components to ensure proper functionality and to document any deficiencies. The role requires delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers. Responsibilities
Complete all services following manufacturers’ instructions, related codes/standards, and Company policies and procedures. Schedule inspections with customers as required. Provide documentation of inspections for Eagle Fire records, customer records, authorities having jurisdiction, and any other required entities. Communicate discrepancies, necessary system repairs, and other important issues to Eagle Fire and the customer. Complete continuing education necessary to maintain current certifications and/or licenses as required for the position. Work safely using good judgment and follow all Eagle Fire safety policies and work procedures; use authority to stop an unsafe act. Performs other related duties as required. Experience & Qualifications
4+ years of industry experience Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and specifications Fire Sprinkler Service/Inspection experience Fire Sprinkler Manufacturer’s Certifications NICET certification Able to speak, read, and write English fluently Practical knowledge of fire protection codes and standards Excellent customer service skills Self-starter with the ability to work alone Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for the last 5 years Able to stand for long periods and to lift, crouch, reach, handle, push, and pull Able to travel and stay out of town as needed Able to operate and efficiently use measuring instruments and gauges Able to work in extremely cold and hot temperatures Able to work while exposed to loud sounds and noise levels Eagle Fire Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
