As a Front Desk Security Officer, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, patients, and staff, providing a welcoming presence while helping deter security-related incidents. Your role involves monitoring access, verifying credentials, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Position Details

Job Schedule: Mon 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM Thu 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM Fri 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM
What You’ll Do
Use the proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites.
Support operations across commercial real estate, healthcare, and education environments.
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams.
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service.
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise.
Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access to the healthcare facility, verifying identification and/or credentials as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities and any incidents that occur at the front desk.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including communicating with appropriate personnel and/or first responders.
Answer inquiries and provide information to visitors and staff while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activity through attentive presence and adherence to security-related procedures.

Availability across various days and shifts.
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company.
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available.
Minimum Requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
