Cook, Kitchen role at MCR Hotels (Doubletree Suites Minneapolis Downtown). This position is part of the hotel kitchen team responsible for preparing food items to brand standards, maintaining cleanliness and safety, and supporting efficient service. Responsibilities

Meal Preparation: Prepares meals in accordance with brand standards and guidelines. Food Safety Certification: Comply with certification requirements applicable to the position (e.g., Food Handler Safety Training). Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas in line with health regulations. Organization: Complete necessary food and station preparations prior to opening to ensure prompt and efficient service. Safety: Know the location and operation of all safety equipment. Food Handling: Assist in storage and rotation of food items according to hotel procedures. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements

Work Experience: Previous culinary experience in hospitality or a restaurant kitchen setting is preferred. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to follow instructions, complete assigned tasks, and meet deadlines. Friendly service with a smile to guests. Flexible schedule with availability days, nights, holidays, and weekends based on hotel demands. Punctuality: Arrive on time, clock in/out as scheduled, and clock out only when directed by a manager. Breaks: Clock in/out for breaks at designated times. Note: The employer reserves the right to modify duties as needed. Physical Working Demands & Environment
