Provide expertise and knowledge to support college curriculum and programs. Establish courses following accepted higher education standards, teach students using effective methodologies, and provide engagement and support activities that encourage student learning. The role of the Instructional Faculty encompasses teaching and learning, academic advising, professional development, and institutional and community service. Education:

High school diploma or GED required. AAS or Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Experience:

36 months work experience in the field required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to repair, maintain, and operate all machines and tools; ability to climb ladders to retrieve and replace materials; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; ability to work in a diverse environment; willing to teach day, evening, or weekend classes at various sites; proficiency in computer usage and software; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; good organizational and planning skills; sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and students with disabilities; ability to motivate students; self-discipline and effective management skills.
