Overview
The Lisbon School Department is seeking a highly qualified certified high school Music Teacher for the 2025/2026 school year. This position requires collaboration with a district music department, a student-centered approach, strong knowledge of content and best practices in music instruction, standards-based assessment, and the ability to use technology in instruction to support the school mission. The role includes after-school small group ensemble development for an additional stipend.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the district music department to plan and implement music instruction.
Deliver student-centered music instruction with a strong understanding of content and best practices.
Incorporate standards-based assessment in instruction and progress reporting.
Use technology to enhance instruction and learning.
Develop after-school small group ensembles for additional stipend.
Qualifications / requirements
Must have Maine State Teacher’s Certification with Music Endorsement.
Substantial relevant education and experience are preferred.
Start date Start date: Immediately
