Overview

Propio Language Services is seeking Onsite American Sign Language Interpreters in the Phoenix, AZ area who are passionate about using their language skills to help people. Propio provides interpreting and translation services in more than 350 languages for over 6,000 clients, with a diverse staff and many contract interpreters. Contract responsibilities and requirements are listed below. Responsibilities

Provides consecutive in person and virtual interpretation (phone and video remote) as required by Propio LS clients. Follows interpreter protocols and procedures as required by Propio LS clients. Follows all Propio LS policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics. Maintains strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA and/or regulatory requirements or policies and standards. Establishes and maintains quality service and positive interactions with patients, customers, visitors, health care providers, and clinical staff. Continuously improves vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge for various clients (e.g., medical, legal, social services). Requirements

Submission of updated resume. Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Intermediate level computer skills. Access to reliable transportation. Ability to provide documentation of updated vaccinations as required by location and policies (TB, MMR, Varicella, Hep B or declination, TDAP, Seasonal Flu, and Covid). Successful completion of a drug test and Background Check & Security Screen. A signed commitment to confidentiality, adherence to ethics, and HIPAA compliance. Preferred Qualifications
