Base pay range $24.00/hr - $32.00/hr
Position Summary As a Meat Department Lead you will drive sales and supervise the meat department team to deliver a high‑quality shopping experience. You will model expertise in meat, collaborate with other team leaders and ensure the club meets member expectations.
Key Responsibilities • Lead and supervise the meat department team, communicate department goals and execute company programs. • Maintain in‑depth knowledge of floor, backroom operations, product updates and specifications, ensuring regulatory and quality standards. • Leverage digital tools for forecasting, planning and production, improve the shopping experience and elevate associate engagement. • Drive business results, maintain a neat, clean and safe work area, forecast inventory, order and audit compliance standards. • Teach, train and mentor team members, identify training needs and develop skills to deliver high‑quality products and career growth. • Promote compliance with company policies, procedures, ethics and integrity, resolve ethical and compliance issues, and model Walmart values. • Serve members and members, deliver results while putting the customer first and balance short‑ and long‑term priorities. • Strive for excellence, continuous improvements, open to new technologies and support others through change.
