$24.00/hr - $32.00/hr Responsibilities

As a Meat Department Lead you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will model expertise in Meat and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations. Be a Team Leader: Supervises the team within the meat department to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club by communicating goals, executing company programs, adhering to policies, and being an advocate for the member, the associate, and the company while working with other team leaders to meet member expectations. Be an Expert: Maintains in-depth knowledge of business on the floor, backroom operations, product updates and product specifications; ensures the meat department meets standards for quality, inventory, safety, sanitation, and compliance; prioritizes training for the team. Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology for decisions related to production, training, and quality, and encourages adoption of new tools. Be an Owner: Drives business results, maintains a neat, clean, and safe work area; uses digital tools for forecasting, planning, and production; manages inventory, ordering, staffing, audits, and compliance; ensures equipment and storage systems are in working order. Be a Talent Ambassador: Teaches and trains the team, develops skills to deliver high quality products, encourages career growth, and sources new talent; develops processes to meet business needs in collaboration with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; monitors progress and addresses improvements. Demonstrates compliance with company policies and ethics; supports open communication and problem-solving; leads and participates in teams to meet customer needs and business priorities; adapts to change and new challenges. Minimum Qualifications 6 months experience in a meat production department or 6 months experience supervising a team. Must be 18 years of age or older Preferred Qualifications Meat processing, including boneless and bone-in products; Supervising Associates Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) Location
