$24.00/hr - $32.00/hr Position Summary

As a Meat Department Lead you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will model expertise in Meat and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations. Responsibilities

Be a Team Leader: Supervises the team within the meat department to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club by communicating goals, executing company programs, adhering to policies, and advocating for the member, the associate, and the company. Be an Expert: Maintains in‑depth knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product updates, and specifications; ensures the department meets quality, inventory, safety, sanitation, and compliance standards; shares knowledge and prioritizes training for the team; engages with members to help them make informed protein selections. Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilizes handheld technology to make decisions related to production, training, and product quality. Be an Owner: Drives business results with a focus on operational excellence; maintains a neat, clean, and safe work area; uses digital tools for forecasting and planning; manages inventory, ordering, staffing, audits, and compliance. Be a Talent Ambassador: Trains the team, identifies development needs, encourages career growth, and helps recruit new talent; collaborates with managers and partners to meet business needs and improve processes. Demonstrates integrity and compliance with company policies; supports a culture of ethics and open communication; guides teams in applying policies and addressing issues. Respect the Individual: Fosters an inclusive environment and supports belonging; builds strong team relationships and motivates others. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications 6 months of experience in a meat production department or 6 months of experience supervising a team. Must be 18 years of age or older Preferred Qualifications Meat processing experience (boneless and bone-in products); Supervising Associates; Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
