Affiliate Instructor – Modern Languages & Literatures

Loyola University Maryland Main Campus, Baltimore, MD. Position Type:
Part‑time Affiliate Instructor, regular part‑time, regular employment. Compensation:
$4,000 – $4,500 per course. Base pay range $4,000–$4,500 per year plus per‑course stipend. Start Date:
09/01/2024. Responsibilities: Course design, syllabus construction, lecture delivery, and classroom management for one or two courses per semester. Instructor of record for each class, grading, supervising student work, and maintaining academic records. Develop instructional materials and assessments aligned with department standards. Collaborate with department faculty and staff to support student learning and success. Qualifications: Master’s or Doctoral degree (or equivalent) in Modern Languages, Literatures, or related discipline. Strong teaching experience and commitment to inclusive learning environments. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Capable of independent learning and student support in a dynamic academic setting. Benefits:
