Outside Sales Representative - Walmart - KEN'S is a part-time merchandising role focused on calling on independent stores to sell products, present and authorize new items, promote promotions, and support basic merchandising. The OSR follows monthly priorities from business managers for each client and helps coordinate store events such as anniversary sales, demos, new store openings, remodels, and related promotional activities. Responsibilities

Visit the assigned stores in the territory monthly. Present new items for clients and secure orders for them. Present promotional activity to store buyers and secure orders; work toward off-shelf displays when possible. Assess distribution on existing items to ensure they are carried. Assist in merchandising for our products as needed. Collaborate with stores on special projects such as demos, remodels, and new store openings. Maintain current knowledge of products and new items. Keep stakeholders informed of store issues, competitive activity, trends, etc. Maintain full distribution and display of products in assigned accounts. Assist with any additional merchandising needs for our products as required. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. Education Requirements

High School Diploma/GED Work Experience Requirements

Five or more years of relevant experience within Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) and/or retail preferred. Customer service: Comprehensive understanding of the marketplace Presentations: Present products and/or display opportunities to store/market personnel Relationship building: Develop and maintain relationships with store decision makers, including district/market managers Sales goals: Set and meet monthly sales quotas Collaboration: Collaborate with client and customer Expertise in Microsoft software: PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook and thorough knowledge of web-based applications Must have excellent presentation and communication skills Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously Maintain current knowledge of products we sell and new items Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive a car for extended periods Must be available for occasional overnight travel Must be able to effectively communicate with others Must be able to walk, stoop, kneel, reach, pull, grasp and stand daily Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods The Acosta Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer Privacy and Data Protection: US: http://acosta.jobs/privacy-policy-us/; Canada: http://acosta.jobs/privacy-policy-ca/ The Acosta Group utilizes E-Verify to validate the ability to work in the United States.
