Job Summary The Inside Sales Representative is the single point of contact for all project quotations and works directly with sales representatives and external customers. The role prepares new project quotations, revises quotes, assists in the pricing approval process, enters new planning projects, performs contact management/maintenance, and distributes submittal packages/product information upon request. The representative also communicates with other departments, provides various reporting, and performs other administrative duties as assigned.
Essential Responsibilities
Build and maintain good customer relationships leading to profitable orders.
Qualify customer calls, obtain complete project information, review plans, and produce material take offs.
Develop quotes, review orders for clarity and accuracy, prepare submittals, estimate delivery dates.
Coordinate maintenance bids, dealer relations, accessory products.
Use information system to check availability; knowledge of production, scheduling, shipping practices.
Coordinate inter-company orders.
Maintain product knowledge, specifications, pricing guidelines.
Handle all contacts professionally and promote harmonious working relationships.
Perform work in a professional, timely and accurate manner.
Develop customer base through cold calling, lead follow-ups, local sales calls, mailing and other market development techniques.
Develop an understanding of individual territory dynamics.
Requirements
Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving.
Results oriented and able to work independently and within a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Computer literate.
Interact with multiple departments inside and outside organization.
Work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Team driven.
High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 2 years administrative experience in a sales support role. Experience with drainage systems a plus.
Physical Requirements
Standard office environment.
Sit at a desk 8 hours a day.
Maintain professional appearance.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
