We are hiring for an Event Sales Manager who will drive sales for group events in the restaurant setting.
Responsibilities
Grow sales through active prospecting of targeted businesses, organizations, associations, and event planning for groups of 15 or more in the assigned restaurant.
Enter prospects, contacts, accounts, and booking information in the CRM (Tripleseat) and enter basic reservation information in OpenTable for bookings greater than 15.
Maintain weekly updates on current leads through Tripleseat and convert leads to bookings, accounts, and contacts.
Serve as primary contact for all group clients, ensuring completion of event details and client satisfaction.
Manage the booking process to obtain client signatures on CRM-generated contracts and event order forms; update documents with changes.
Develop quarterly sales plans and solicit new customer relationships while maintaining existing relationships in the restaurant.
Manage full-cycle sales and follow proper accounting procedures.
Forecast business on a weekly basis and plan up to three months in advance.
Attend and participate in all company-related trainings and meetings (weekly, quarterly, and annual).
Collaborate with the General Manager and restaurant team to source, plan, and execute local store marketing activities; create profitable bookings using yield tools to drive aligned business decisions; drive overall traffic.
Represent the brand at networking events and public events to foster relationships and drive sales and revenue.
Maintain company values of integrity, professionalism, and next-level service; communicate professionally with guests, be punctual, return calls promptly, and observe business courtesies.
Schedule and participate in guest site tours; coordinate with restaurant management.
Availability to host in-store Fogo marketing events and participate in Live Chat 3-4 times per month.
Be on-site at the home restaurant a minimum of 5 days a week and able to work the necessary hours to perform all duties timely.
Perform other duties as assigned by GM, AD, and DOS.
Exhibit decisiveness, accountability for results, guest focus, resilience, persuasion, negotiation, presentation skills, and business acumen in daily work.
Education, Experience & Travel Required
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of sales or relevant experience.
Experience in the Restaurant / Attraction industry is preferred.
Up to 10% travel required.
Computer Skills
Administrative skills: able to manage paperwork, accounting procedures, multi-tasking, and high organization.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and various office applications.
Experience in Tripleseat and OpenTable is preferred.
