Role: FTCE Tutor on the Varsity Tutors platform. Responsibilities include delivering 1-on-1 online tutoring and adapting instruction to student needs. What You’ll Do
Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring for FTCE content and exam concepts. Personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Set your own schedule and tutor as much as you’d like. Engage students with clear explanations and effective teaching strategies. Utilize the platform tooling to deliver sessions and track progress. What We Look For In a Tutor
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in FTCE and the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to tailor lessons to individual learners and adjust pacing. Preference for candidates with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education. Compensation and How It Works
Base contract rates start at $18/hour and can increase for specialized subjects, with potential to earn up to $40/hour for long-term student engagement. Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice. Platform handles logistics; you invoice for sessions and the platform processes payments. About Varsity Tutors
