CT/Xray Technologist - $10,000 Sign-On Bonus
Apply now to join University Medical Center as a full-time CT/X-ray Technologist. This role involves performing radiographic procedures independently, using technical skill and judgment to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical services according to radiology standards, demonstrating proficiency with all equipment and protocols.
Review scans with radiologists, ensuring anatomical accuracy and identifying abnormalities.
Train and evaluate trainees, providing feedback to management.
Ensure patient safety through effective communication, explaining procedures, and obtaining consent.
Maintain equipment and work areas, inspect for hazards, troubleshoot malfunctions, and manage supplies.
Participate in quality control and sterile techniques, adhering to hospital policies and regulations.
Complete ancillary tasks such as documentation, billing, and data verification in PACS/RIS.
Respond to emergent situations, monitor patient vitals, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Qualifications
Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent certification.
Preferred: 3 years of diagnostic technologist experience.
Licenses: LSRT, ARRT, BLS-HCP.
