Overview Busch Vacuum Solutions is a leading manufacturer of vacuum pumps, compressors, and blowers for use in semiconductor manufacturing, food processing, metallurgy, biomedical, and material handling. The company has an immediate direct-hire opportunity for an After Sales Service Coordinator at our service center in Virginia Beach, VA. The role focuses on delivering high-quality customer service, managing the entire after-sales process, and coordinating with the service organization to schedule, track, and complete service activities.

Responsibilities

Support the development, implementation and operation of programs to promote the sale of After Sales Service products including service contracts, routine maintenance services, preventative and predictive maintenance services, spare parts, pump remanufacturing and training programs.

Proactive follow up on sales leads and quotes while supporting regional sales targets and driving customer satisfaction through proactive customer support.

Assist in investigating problems related to customer satisfaction.

Report to the National Service Sales Manager on the status of activities.

Prepare service proposals, estimates and pricing and coordinate timely follow up by the Field Service Specialist with the customer.

Proactively communicate with other areas of the business on problematic installations so corrective action can be taken in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

Administratively assist the National Service Sales Manager and Field Service team including reporting, scheduling, CRM activities, training, and new employee onboarding.

Keep accurate records and document field service customer actions and discussions.

Manage KPI data and assemble, compile accurate reports.

Customer Support Responsibilities

Receive incoming calls for field service, product repairs, exchanges, and spare sales of After Sales products.

Coordinate the activities of the Field Service organizations with the Service Center Manager(s) and/or planner(s).

Serve as the information liaison between the National Service Sales Manager, Service Center Manager, Sales Managers, Service Specialist/Technicians, and customers, providing regular updates on service in process.

Report problems that customers are having to the National Service Sales Manager. Prepare Field Service proposals, estimates and pricing, and coordinate timely follow up by the Field Service Specialist/Technicians with the customer.

Service Support Responsibilities

Secure purchase orders for service work and verify terms and conditions with customers.

Maintain (edit as needed) scheduled service orders in LN or other ERP system.

Track and file relevant paperwork.

Order, track and follow up and expedite service orders as needed.

Complete administrative responsibilities for after-sales activities.

Work cooperatively with all departments in a spirit of teamwork to address problem areas and stimulate After Sales and Service.

Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessary to get the job done.

Required Experience

5+ years of administrative, customer service or similar experience (Required).

Experience working in a production/manufacturing environment (Preferred).

Experience working in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

Proven commitment and responsiveness to internal and external customer needs.

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, prior experience with ERP and CRM, and database management (Preferred).

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) (Required).

Associate’s Degree (two-year college or technical school) (Preferred).

Personal Qualifications

Must be customer and detail-oriented.

Must possess strong written and oral English communication skills.

Must possess a high degree of integrity, accountability, and dependability.

Job Requirements

Ability and willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen, and a 7-year criminal history check.

Must be willing and able to utilize all required PPE.

Must maintain a valid driver’s license for the duration of employment.

Physical Requirements

Frequent standing, walking, sitting, lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 25 lbs.

Occasional climbing, squatting, kneeling, bending, reaching outward and/or above the shoulder, and lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.

All applicants must be able to hear and see alarms and must be able to wear all required PPE, such as safety shoes, electrical hazards, safety glasses, and hearing protection.

Work Environment

Moderately controlled manufacturing environment, moderate noise levels, fumes, and airborne particles, while working near moving mechanical parts.

Job duties are in an office and manufacturing/warehousing environment.
