Overview Kemin is seeking a driven and experienced Regional Sales Manager to cultivate and sustain long-term, strategic partnerships with customers across Canada. In this key role, you’ll collaborate closely with influential stakeholders across various industries, focusing on both strengthening existing relationships and driving growth. As part of a dynamic team, you’ll coordinate with Technical Service Managers, Product Managers, fellow Key Account Managers, and regional Distributors to ensure seamless account management and customer satisfaction. Your efforts will directly contribute to expanding Kemin’s footprint and delivering value to our clients.
This position will be required to travel extensively, up to 70%. Candidates must reside within Canada.

Responsibilities
Build and maintain long‑term, strategic relationships with assigned key customers.
Meet the collective budgeted sales and gross margin for the region/territory’s Sales Managers.
Manage the collective expenses within the region’s sales manager region/territory’s Sales Managers and their own expenses to stay within the annual sales expense budget.
Monitor the competitive activity and market trends within the region/territory and report those trends to the Commercial Director and/or Exec Committee on a periodic basis.
Provide leadership, managerial support, coaching and mentoring, and strategic assistance to the region/territory’s Sales Managers.
Collaborate and coordinate with the Key Account Manager and technical support to implement strategies with assigned key customers across all territories.
Identify and build strategic plans on growth opportunities in other industry segments.
Allocate resources for the region/territory’s Sales Managers.
Have extensive knowledge of the features, benefits and use of Kemin products.
Develop and implement training and product opportunities with key accounts.
Utilize selling techniques as described through the Kemin sales process and assist the region/territory’s Sales Managers in following multi‑level customer contacts within their respective account portfolio’s and introduce new products.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a science or agriculture related field with 10+ years of experience in technical sales within the animal agricultural industry OR
Masters or PhD in a scientific field is a plus.
Time management, prioritizing of duties, organization of data, analyzing customer problems and recommending appropriate solutions.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and electronically.
Experience as a team player, leader and motivator; and the ability to present ideas effectively and communicate well with peers and all levels of management and subordinates.
A high degree of personal motivation, a desire to make an immediate contribution and a distinct sense of urgency.
A post‑offer background check and drug screen is required. Additional pre‑employment requirements may be necessary based on position.
