CUSTOMER SERVICE - Proactively engage and connect with customers. Ask questions and listen to customer needs. Direct customers to merchandise and inform them about upcoming events, promotions, mobile offers, and STAR card. Provide premier customer service. Build positive, inclusive, and respectful relationships; take accountability for your actions and outcomes. ORGANIZATION - Maintain store appearance. SALES - Cross-sell products and know the store layout. Suggest latest trends and current promotions based on individual customer needs. Upsell products. Learn product features and stay updated on trends, leveraging company tools to provide product knowledge and specs. Use Point-of-Sales system for transactions, discounts, gift cards, and cash handling with accurate cash reconciliation. Complete various forms of paperwork, reports, and reconciliation. INVENTORY - Be the keeper of merchandise; complete inventory processes and ensure merchandise is checked in and accurately ticketed. May participate in periodic inventories. DEPENDABILITY - Adhere to assigned work schedule with accurate and complete follow-through on tasks. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE - Basic knowledge of products and merchandise. EXPERIENCE - Retail experience preferred but not required. COMMUNICATION SKILLS - Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Ability to read, write, and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Effective communication with customers, peers, and management. Telephone etiquette. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). REASONING ABILITY - Ability to multi-task, be attentive to customers, and stay flexible to business needs. Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision. Physical Demands and Work Environment

Constant movement, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours. Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. Vision includes close, color, depth, and focus adjustments. Able to lift 25 to 50 lbs in some departments. Work indoors primarily, may be outdoors depending on location. WORK HOURS - Available to work a variety of hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Other Skills
