Located in Red Hook, NY, this position is responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, and implementation of the residence program. The Assistant Residence Manager will oversee individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and partner with them to facilitate daily care, enhance personal development, foster self-esteem, and meet individualized goals for success. (commensurate with education and experience) With HS Diploma/GED: $21.50 - $23.00 per hour With BA/BS: $22.50 - $24.07 per hour With MA/MS or higher: $23.50 - $25.14 per hour You deserve to work somewhere that gives back to you. Assist in planning, coordination, and implementation of the residence program. Oversee intellectually and developmentally disabled individuals and partner with them to facilitate daily care, support personal development, and help meet individualized goals. Qualifications

Have a HS diploma/GED with one year of related experience. Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree with one (1) year of related experience preferred. Have a valid NY Driver’s License. Be flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and have a sense of humor. Have a strong passion for working with and helping children and adults with special needs. Physical Requirements

Pre-employment physical required. Significant and frequent walking, sitting, stooping, bending, and standing required. Frequent outdoor activities with exposure to sunlight and heat. Ability to communicate effectively by phone or in person and vision adequate to read correspondence and computer screens. Good manual dexterity. Level of Supervision
