Oversee the operations of the Ommelanden Hunter Education Training Center and Shooting Range in New Castle, Delaware. Coordinate day-to-day operations including staff supervision of full-time merit and seasonal employees. Schedule training and evaluate performance of employees. Ensure proper operation and maintenance of ranges, grounds and buildings. Prepare and monitor budgets including expenses and income generated by the range. Schedule and plan shooting activities and coordinate long-term range use. Establish curriculum and conduct training for full-time staff and seasonal range officers. Recommend, implement and enforce policies and range rules pertaining to public use. Qualifications

One year experience in operating a shooting range (e.g., skeet, trap, clay target, archery or other target systems). One year experience in maintaining and repairing shooting range equipment (skeet, trap, clay, archery or target). One year of firearms use, care and safety experience. One year experience in inventory control (ordering, receiving, tracking, storing and handling inventory; disbursing materials, supplies and equipment). One year experience in staff supervision including planning, assigning, reviewing, and evaluating the work of others. Job Requirements
