- 6.4 hrs/day - West Linn High School We are recruiting for a Testing Coordinator and AP Support Secretary. This is a 6.4 hour/day, 10 month position under the Classified Bargaining Unit. The position schedule is: 9:00 AM - 3:54 PM. The position starts on 8/14/2023. DEFINITION

Under the supervision of an Assistant Principal or Administrator with a similar level of responsibility, performs a variety of office management and clerical tasks, including facilitating communications among supervisor, parents, and staff; manages files and other record keeping systems; collects and analyzes information; prepares oral and written reports; and performs related work as required. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS

Employees at this level work under the general supervision of an Administrator with responsibilities of a high school Assistant Principal and serves as an information liaison among the Administrator, teachers, other district personnel, and the general public. This position is distinguished from the Secretary IV position because this position does not require the coordination of the work of other clerical employees in the same office. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES

Prepares for and attends school curriculum meeting and faculty senate meetings; prepares, types, and distributes minutes; Maintains records of faculty workshops, conferences, and tuition reimbursements; Assists with and types reports; Coordinates statewide testing and other assignments; Maintains confidentiality of department activities. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of:

Business English, spelling, punctuation, and mathematics; Current office practices, procedures and equipment; Rules, regulations, procedures, and functions of the district; Office management principles and ability to apply this knowledge to work problems. Ability to:

Read, write, and follow oral and written instructions with little supervision; Perform word processing and other related software programs as necessary; Keep moderately complicated fiscal records, ledgers, and control accounts; Work independently on difficult clerical tasks; Effectively communicate with students, the public, and other employees; Establish and maintain harmonious relationships with students, fellow employees, and the general public; Maintain confidentiality in all phases of work, i.e. records, meetings, etc.; Use and navigate computer technology with high degree of proficiency; Must routinely lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and over 50 pounds with assistance; Complete all district required trainings. Experience:

Two years of general clerical experience. Education:

High school diploma or equivalent as required by Oregon Administrative Rules, Oregon Department of Education. Community and District Information:
