Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Bakery & Cheese Deli Associate to join our team! You will be responsible for serving customer desserts, slicing cured meats, and procuring fine cheeses. You will also be executing dinner service charcuterie boards and plated desserts. Bakery & Cheese Deli Associates are customer facing and need to bring a positive attitude to work each day. Associates are responsible for restocking grab-n-go items and display cases while ensuring all products are rotated by date. Associate must have a sense of time management and work well in a team setting.

Responsibilities

Clean food preparation areas such as equipment and work surfaces to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices

Ensure freshness of products by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock

Prepare and assemble cheese and charcuterie boards for guest orders

Attain specialty product knowledge to best serve our customers

Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism

Maintain a professional and clean appearance by wearing correct uniform attire

Qualifications

Previous experience as a deli/foodservice worker preferred

ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification (or must be willing to attain)

Effective communication skills

Ability to lift 30+ lbs

Ability to work standing for 8+ hours
