The 4Kids4Families Permanency Specialist is responsible for conducting assessments, developing permanency plans, and coordinating efforts to ensure the well-being and stability of children in foster care. They will collaborate with families, foster parents, and stakeholders to achieve permanency for each child. Benefits Include

Meet the individual needs of children in foster care and assist caregivers to provide a stable and loving home. Work in an emotionally demanding environment, including conducting home visits in isolated or high-crime areas and exposure to substandard living conditions. Advocate for children's best interests, collaborating with legal and court systems, ensuring timely court appearances, and providing documentation. Collaborate with social workers, therapists, educators, and healthcare professionals for comprehensive support. Provide crisis intervention and support services to maintain placement stability. Maintain detailed case records in compliance with policies and legal requirements. Provide 24-hour on-call support and crisis intervention as needed. Provide training on processes, skills, and practices for preparing children and families for adoption. Discuss issues of separation and loss with children, families, and caregivers. Travel and attend visits and meetings after 5PM; work irregular hours and on a rotating on-call basis. Demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity. Perform all duties within regulatory and agency standards. May require driving, being insurable, and completing vehicle training. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field, with 1-2 years of experience. Experience in child welfare, foster care, or adoption services is a plus. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations. Additional Details
