Location: Doan Hall (0089), Columbus, OH

Responsibilities

Assist the Nurse Manager in leading a team of care providers to deliver patient-focused care through the Nursing Professional Practice Model.

Promote a healthy work environment, cultivate collaboration, enthusiasm, and mutual respect among the care team.

Assist in planning, organization, direction, and evaluation of patient care operations for a designated area on a 24-hour basis; support the nursing professional practice model.

Contribute to ongoing Nursing Department operations; mentor, coach, and evaluate the work performance of patient care staff in a designated area.

Collaborate with other patient care departments to optimize patient care operations and services.

Position Summary The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) assists with the planning, organization, direction, and evaluation of patient care operations for designated areas, ensures alignment with the Medical Center’s mission and goals, and supports a positive professional practice environment. The ANM works under the guidance of the Nurse Manager to oversee patient care staff and collaborates across related departments.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing; Registered Nurse (RN).

3 years of relevant experience required; 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
